Privacy information

Self State is operated by Kaizen Strategic AI Inc. in British Columbia, Canada. The private beta is invite-only. App access and external provider usage are separate.

Your workspace holds its context

Chats, tasks, agent settings, imported files, Canvas items, and saved results can be stored with the workspace. A cloud workspace sends data to its service and storage. Each agent’s office is a way to organize work; it is not a separate private user account.

Running a task can send selected information to a provider

The task and selected context pass to the configured model provider or execution computer. A connection can also use provider credentials to make the request. Provider retention and use of this information depend on the service, account, and settings. Connecting a model does not import your personal chat history or memory from another app.

Removing an item and erasing data are different

Removing a Canvas item or excluding a file from future runs does not erase all copies of its content. Earlier tasks, results, imports, device storage, execution computers, and provider systems may hold copies. A complete retention and deletion process is still being prepared.

Local model hosting is planned

A model on your own computer would not by itself keep a cloud workspace’s files and tasks off cloud storage. Local model hosting is not generally available in this beta.

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist, Kaizen Strategic AI Inc. collects the information you give us: your email address, and only if you choose to answer them, your name, whether you work solo or with a team, team size, what you would use agents for, which AI services and devices you use, how you heard about Self State, and what you would hand to an agent first. We also record your consent and when you gave it, whether you asked for product updates, the referral code you joined with, and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

The service adds a small amount of technical information: the time you joined, your approximate country from our hosting provider’s network data, the website that linked you here (its domain only, not the full address), and a general browser and device type such as “iOS Safari”. Your IP address is not stored. A one-way keyed hash of it is kept for a short time only to limit repeated signups from one network.

We use this information to manage the waitlist, decide who to invite as places open in the paid beta, contact you about the beta, understand who Self State would serve, and credit referrals. If you opted in, we also send occasional product updates; you can opt out at any time. We do not sell or rent waitlist information. It is stored with our hosting provider, Vercel, and is available only to Kaizen Strategic AI Inc.. Waitlist emails, including the confirmation with your place and share link, are sent through our email provider, Resend, which receives your email address for that purpose.

We keep waitlist information until 12 months after Self State opens to the public, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is first. To see, correct or delete your waitlist information, or to stop beta emails, email info@kaizenstrategic.ai from the address you signed up with. We delete the record and its referral code.

Send privacy questions and access, correction, or deletion requests to info@kaizenstrategic.ai. Include only enough information to identify the request; do not send credentials or sensitive files.
